²⁰ And when the blood of your witness Stephen was shed, I also stood by and consented to his death, and minded the garments of those who slew him. ²¹ Then he said to me, Depart, for I will send you far from here, to the Gentiles.

²² The people listened to him until these words, and then lifted up their voices and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth! It is a pity that he should live!
